HPCP production reimagined — servo drive and IR welding.
The CRM 866-8 Servo combines a new infrared welding system with two servo-driven precision sliders. The result: faster cycles, accurate positioning and reduced power consumption — all mounted on a precision-milled steel base plate.
New IR welding system
Infrared welding with special insulation for perfect welds and significantly reduced power consumption compared to conventional systems.
High-dynamic servo drives
Two precision spindles drive the work sliders — faster movements, shorter paths and exact positioning with no mechanical end-stops.
Touch Screen Display
All key parameters (heating, cooling, slider travel) are adjustable and monitorable directly at the TSD. Storage for up to 10 complete machine settings.
Vibration-free base
All components are mounted on a CNC-milled steel base plate (approx. 1000 × 800 × 30 mm) — precise and vibration-free operation.
Welding cycle under 10 minutes
Fully automatic sequence: heat → weld → cool. A complete HPCP module is welded in less than ten minutes.
EtherCAT & remote service
EtherCAT fieldbus for servo drives, pneumatic valve terminals and Touch Screen. Modem connection for service and updates over the Internet.
Application — heating, cooling and dehumidifying in minimal space.
HPCP High Performance Climatization Packs are compact capillary tube mat modules with very high tube density. They deliver excellent heating and cooling values in minimal space and are also suited to dehumidifying.
Typical applications include heating and cooling canals, climate columns, server rooms, residential and office spaces. The standard CRM 866-8 Servo processes up to 8 capillary tube mats with 16 tubes each (pitch 10 mm). On request, mats with up to 32 capillary tubes or more are possible.
Operation — fully automatic in a single cycle.
The operator loads the supply tube and capillary tube mats, then starts the cycle. Heating, welding and cooling all run automatically.
1. Loading
Place the supply tube in the dedicated rail, then load the capillary tube mats into the receivers.
2. Servo positioning
The welding system rises and the servo sliders bring main and supply tubes into position.
3. Heating
Double IR heaters bring the weld zones to temperature. A cooling loop keeps the receiving block stable.
4. Welding
The heaters retract; mats and supply tube are pressed together and fused.
5. Cooling
After the set cooling time, the pneumatic clamping jaws release.
6. Removal
The finished HPCP is removed — ready for the next cycle in under 10 minutes.
